TV wall mounting on the Treasure Coast
Your TV on the wall, level, secure and at the right height, with the cables routed neatly. Drywall over studs or concrete block, we mount it properly.
A wall-mounted TV holds a lot of weight on a few bolts. It has to go into something solid, sit level, and land at a height you can watch without craning your neck. We mount TVs for homeowners in Stuart, Palm City, Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound, and we treat it like the structural job it is.
Many Treasure Coast homes are concrete block construction. Interior walls are usually drywall over wood or metal studs, while exterior walls are often block with drywall over furring strips. Each needs different anchoring. We find the framing or the block, use hardware rated for the wall and the mount, and check the TV for level before we tighten everything down. A mount screwed into drywall alone is not a mount.
We set the height with you before drilling, keep the mount centered on the wall or the furniture, and route and hide cables neatly. Tell us when you request service how you want the cables handled and we confirm the approach for your wall before work starts. Our electrical work stays minor: we use the outlets that are already there and do not add new ones.
Moving a TV leaves holes. We patch them as part of drywall repair, and we can hang the shelves and fixtures on the same visit.
Either works. Tell us in your request whether you have a mount and which one, and we confirm before the visit that it suits your TV and your wall.
Yes. We use masonry anchors rated for the load and place them in solid block, not in the mortar joints.
Usually, yes. We look at the wall construction and the viewing height first and tell you honestly if a spot will be uncomfortable to watch.
Why a local handyman matters
Humidity, settling, loose hardware, worn caulk, sticking doors, cracked drywall. Florida homes need constant small repairs. But most contractors won't bother with the small stuff. We take it seriously.
